My name is Sabrina, I’m quite a young portrait artist, nineteen years of age and I’ve been drawing pretty much all my life. It’s not something I’ve learned but a passion of mine.
Most of the portraits I do are very close up. I like to capture expression; every little line, wrinkle, scar has a story to tell. I only go as low as the shoulders. The way I work is by sketching from photographs. This has to be a very good quality close up image which shows a great amount of detail. I also like to experiment by using different types of medium. You can choose to have your portrait done in pencil, ink or pastel.
I have put a few of pictures up for you to see, bearing in mind these were done when I was only about fifteen. I will put some more up as soon as I can, so you can see my latest pieces of work.
